Imbibe: Your Garden

cucumber martini

We all know that you can eat your garden, but just to keep things exciting, I recommend drinking it every now and again, too. This is an adult beverage that is best savored after a long day of sweating in the garden under the hot sun. A simple gin martini–shaken, not stirred–with fresh cucumber and lime juices. You deserve it.

So true…I would be happy even with growing beer…And yes, the cucumber martini is very good. The best I ever had was in California, in Napa, I think, with a jalapeno in it. The more you let is sit, the stronger it got. Amazing.

A little jalapeno, or red fresno chili, would definitely add another complimentary dimension to the cocktail. Big fan of the spicy drink!
